Nieuw Rooms on computer: a spelling and grammar checker. While you type, a bar above the box suggests the correction; one click replaces the word. The “abc✓” icon, next to the smiley, turns it on or off. Everything happens on our own servers: your text is not sent to any outside service.
Correctie Room description: characters like “&” no longer show as “&”. When you edit it, you now have the smiley and the spell checker.
Nieuw Rooms: flood protection. More than 5 messages in a row, then more than one per second: the person can't write in the room for a while, and a bubble tells them when they can start again. Their text stays in the box. The owner and admins set the duration in /mod (no block, 30 seconds, 1, 5 or 15 minutes); they are never blocked themselves.
Nieuw Rooms: translate a message written in another language. “⋯” menu of the message → “Translate”: the translation shows below it, in your language. Everything happens on our own servers; your messages are not sent to any outside service.
Nieuw Friend requests: a badge on the “Friends list” icon shows how many people want to add you. At the top of your contacts, each request shows the person's picture and name, with “Accept” and “Decline”. Click their name to see their profile before answering.
Nieuw Rooms: a microphone to talk to the whole room. Hold the microphone button next to “Send”, and a bubble at the top shows who is talking.
Nieuw Owners: edit your room without leaving the conversation. Click the room avatar, or type /salon followed by its name (description, avatar, radio, password…).
Nieuw Rooms on computer: the room avatar now shows at the top, next to its description.
Nieuw Without a profile picture, everyone now gets the first letter of their name on a coloured circle. Same for rooms without an avatar.
Nieuw Rooms on computer: the last bubble of a series has a small tail pointing to the avatar.
Nieuw Private messages on computer: the same bubbles as on mobile.
Correctie Message bubble outlines are easier to see, in both light and dark themes.
Beveiliging Webcams: a red shield appears on your webcam when moderation is watching it.
Beveiliging Names reserved for the team (moderation, administration…) can no longer be taken when signing up.
Nieuw Voice messages: the sound is shown while recording, and the voice waveform in the message.
Nieuw New, rounder message bubbles on computer and mobile.
Nieuw Mobile: the avatar moves below the last message, with a small tail, to leave more room for text.
Nieuw Rooms: a “/” button shows the list of commands.
Nieuw Webcams on computer: each window keeps the shape of the picture (portrait for a phone, landscape for a computer).
Beveiliging Rooms: every message keeps its real author, even after a nickname change or leaving the room (avatar and reports).
